Introduction to Silicon Carbon Rod
          Hotbar silicon carbide resistance heating element is a rod-shaped or tubular body formed by extruding high-purity alpha silicon carbide raw materials and high-temperature recrystallization. The optimized structure of silicon carbide particles enables it to exhibit unique performance in industrial and laboratory use, with the best service life under various application conditions, especially in oxidizing and corrosive gas environments. Without any support, Hotbar components can be installed and used vertically or horizontally at 1600 ºC without deformation, which provides great convenience for kiln design and allows for component replacement in uninterrupted production. In the field of continuous operation production, Hotbar components exhibit this feature even more, and their high load bearing characteristics are suitable for small volume and high power environments. Therefore, it is widely used in various high-temperature electric furnaces and other electric heating equipment in industries such as lithium positive and negative electrode materials, magnetic materials, powder metallurgy, ceramics, glass, non-ferrous metals, and machinery.
Hotbar component model
          Hotbar components include RH type (equal diameter resistance), RL type (equal diameter low resistance), U type, CU type, M type (gate type), W type (three-phase), SG type (single thread), 5GR type (double thread), UX type (slot type), DB type (thick end type), HD type (high-density), etc. The diameter range of the rod body is from 8MM to 54MM, with a maximum length of 4300MM. The SG and SGR types have a maximum diameter of 75MM and a maximum length of 1000MM.

Installation Instructions


Notice for using and installing SIC heater:
1. Be protected against damp during storing or installing to ensure the performance ;
2. Divided before assembling. The tolerance of the resistance of each one cannot exceed by 10% each other;
3. Be careful when using and maintaining;
4. When operating the electric furnace at the beginning, the voltage should be increased slowly and cannot be fully loaded at once. Otherwise the larger current will be resulted in the damage of heater. 
5. When heater is damaged and need to be changed, the resistance of new ne should follow the increasing resistance. If many are damaged or resistance increased too much, heater should be changed.
